eSense, the leading Jordanian provider of IT-based business solutions, is among the first IT companies in the region to join the Windows 7 movement. The company recently finished migrating the systems of its corporate clients to the new operating system, implementing an evolution that, whilst challenging in some aspects, will put a wealth of new and useful features at its employees’ fingertips and greatly improve the efficiency of their business.
Launched in October, Windows 7 has been raved about by countless users as a solid move on Microsoft's behalf, propelling the world's most popular operating system forward by improving speed, reliability and usability. Following several feasibility studies, eSense's team of IT specialists began a rather smooth transition process that upgraded the operating systems of its corporate clients from both Windows XP and Windows Vista to Windows 7, utilizing several technologies developed by Microsoft to ease the implementation, including Microsoft Deployment Toolkit 2010 and Windows Deployment Services.
"While many organizations remain weary of transitioning to new operating systems because the process may be intimating at first, we are always eager to bring the latest of our partners' offerings to our business environment," said eSense's CEO Samer Maslamani. "Being a Microsoft Gold Partner, and given the fact that we rely heavily on Microsoft's technologies in many of our projects, we decided to pioneer this transition and to get the trend rolling, both in Jordan and the region."

This allowed for a fast and easy implementation with little or no interruption in workflow.
Since its launch, Windows 7 has been met with great praise by critics and users alike. It's stable, smooth, and highly polished, introducing new graphical features, a new taskbar, device management and security enhancements that make it both easier to use and safer than previous versions of the OS. Microsoft has gone to great lengths to make Windows 7 accessible to as many people as possible, providing exceptional hardware support, backward compatibility and very flexible interface.
