Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall performance of managing client project's scope, cost, schedule and contractual deliverables.
- Lead the project team and manage all systems solutions development activities that meet clients’ expectations in timely and cost effective manner.
- Manage and be responsible for the project budget.
- Identify resources needed for the project and optimally manage funds.
- Be in contact with the client to manage day-to-day interaction for achieving client expectations.
- Cater clients’ project related needs and requirements.
- Ensure resolving issues within minimum time to enhance client relationship.
- Assist marketing in presales activities.
- Participate in preparing Request for Proposals (RFP).
- Manage the project throughout the five process groups: Initiating, Planning, Executing, Controlling & Monitoring and Closing.
- Manage Project Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Human Resource, Communications, Risk and Procurement.
- Balance/Mange triple constrains (trade –off-triangle): Scope, Time, and Resources.
- Conduct Performance Appraisals for subordinates.
- Plan daily, weekly, monthly and annual activities.
- Organize work schedules based on priorities.
- Control resources as per work requirements.
- Monitor resources and performance of the team.
- Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
- Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
- Ensure quality assurance of all deliverables to the client.
- Work with the business users, understand their needs and translate those needs into the final project deliverables.
- Assign individual responsibilities within the team and manage their time.
- Assist in selecting suitable candidates and job interviews.
- Resolve issues and conflicts within the team.
- Provide assistance in developing communication, risk management, plans and metrics.
- Responsible for project progress reporting to the PMO and to the clients (i.e. status reports, project plans and budget).
- Adheres to PMO processes & reporting.
- Motivate team to work together in the most efficient manner.
- Train/coordinate with the functional managers to train subordinates and develop their knowledge and competencies.
- Share all types of knowledge with different team members.
Qualifications:
- B.Sc. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline with information technology focus.
- Minimum yrs of experience: 5 years of IT project management experience.
- Independent, self starter, requiring minimal oversight.
- Flexible, organized, meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge and experience using project management software such as Microsoft Project.
